  Autumn in the Arboretum

I finally got the CD with pics from our visit to the Arboretum near Bad Grund, Harz.

Here's the Japanese fan maple, momiji.

And these are some American boys from the Rockies.
I love the colours in the top photo :).
Beautiful! You can't beat a walk in a park, especially at autumn time.
You know how to pick 'em, Gabriele.
Lovely (!) especially the Japanese fan maple. d:)
Thanks, all.

I'm going back in spring, or maybe even already in winter if there's enough snow for some ski hiking.

The Lost Fort is a blog based on my travels, with essays on Roman and Mediaeval history illustrated with lots of photos of old castles, cathedrals, Roman remains, and beautiful landscapes from Germany, the UK, Scandinavia, and the Baltic States. You may also find the odd essay about Geology, Mediaeval literature, and some poetry translations.

All texts (except comments by guests) and photos (if no other copyright is noted) on this blog are copyright of Gabriele Campbell.
