I wish everyone a Happy New Year, health, love, and lots of books.
York Minster, one of the windows
I don't have photos of fireworks, but I think that shot is a fitting substitute - taken against the light the rosette window looks like an exploding firework star on the night sky.
Hey love the photos. I'm a Scot in Scotland and it was great to see Doune Castle. I've been there a couple of times but not recently. Didn't even realise it was in the Monty Python and the Holy Grail film at the time! I have lots of panoramic photos of York which I think you might like. Was at Clifford's Tower with my wife in August but wow was it higher than I wanted (and with a lower railing than I'd have liked!)
Gabriele -- Happy new year! And thanks for another year of blog entries that let me feel as if I'm enjoying a holiday even when I'm stuck here in D.C. :)
Happy New Year! Love the picture!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteA stained glass window is a brilliant alternative. Happy New Year, Gabriele.
ReplyDeleteFantastic picture! I like how it DOES have a likeness to fireworks. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hogmanay....
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan, Carla, Shelley, Meghan and Stag.
